5.0.0.230 Findings and Fixes Discussion thread

You know the deal.

try to keep downloading and installing messages to a min, BTW installing lol jk. Seriously though guys and gals keep it clean

I found the installer from BBCrackman to bring back nice memories of installing his hybrids, since I haven't done an OS install since ::bbos:: posted 5.0.0.191 3 weeks ago :D.

i put this in the thread with the links but thought id throw it here too..

shrinking this os is not recommended - i know i always do so wanted to let everyone like me know not to

installing it on both my storms, will post my results after a hard days use going stress this baby to the max :)

Loading now this does have camera but no BBM5 correct.

We will find out soon enough :)

Correct, camera and video work great. BBM 5 has not been released so it's the same drill until they do (BBM 4.7)

Dates on files seem... the same as .191 not bitchin just sayin. we'll see in a few.

Noticed during the install selection, BBM says update. Will report back, once the upgrade is finished.

I would like to thank ::bbos:: for the teasing and updates!

Want to install but need some reassurance for the radio file. I would appreciate if any T-mobile users who have downloaded and installed it post their edge to EDGE findings...I found the perfect hybrid for this issue (Thanks for OOAK 7.99c) and dont want to mess things up ;)

Have not looked at the dates but .230 was only born a week ago, so to speak.

the dates say 9/11 or earlier.. so those are .. correct :P

After install was complete received to java exceptions for gmail and Phone app. Anyone else? OS wanted to do the reboot so waiting for boot up. Think I had the same thing with .191 and didn't cause any problems just thought I would throw this out in the mix
