I installed it but to many things are still to glitchy and not many apps are capable of functioning on the 5.0 OS. Therefore i will stick with the 4.7.0.151 OS with my BBC 8.5 Hybrid until an Official Release of 5.0 comes out or a Newer leak or official 4.7 release

I just loaded it and it did the initial reboot. I got 503 error when it came back up. Doing batt pull now. If that doesnt work anyone have any ideas? No i didnt shrink it... Helps!!

Did a batt pull and all is well.. That batt pull is a life saver sometimes!!

I have downloaded, but am waiting for someone to say what is up with the different file dates? Any problems installing? Running?

If you are talking about the file dates in the actual OS Java folder, my guess would have to be you downloaded the version without Docs 2 Go, so the ones left over from .191 would still be in the Java folder since there is nothing to overwrite. Or, since VAD seems to be missing in .230; you could be seeing the leftover VAD files from .191

This is just a guess, as I did the actual install on my work PC, and am now at home; so cannot check for you. But it would make sense if you overwrote a fresh, non-shrunk .191 install with the .230 files, there COULD be .191 files left over. And those files would have an earlier date.

As for the 503 error, did you install over .191?

also there is an installer by lyricidal with full .230's

Could it be because you have Docs to go? or do you not have Docs to go on your phone and still get attachments??

Actually, I haven't installed Docs 2 Go on my phone since the first time I loaded a leak. Docs 2 Go isn't important for viewing attachments, it is used for accessing documents off of the memory card.

Fletchdude, most of the 5.0 incompatible apps are due to the fact that they need to be updated to OS 5. JDE 5 tools were already released so now it's up to developers. I miss meterberry dearly as well and saw Cashew say that it is being worked on and should be released soon. No eta though. And I hate the word soon

i thought about that too, i jus figure 5.0 integrates it with another feature or something like that making it so u dont need the attachment service cods

The closest I can figure is it's now a part of 5.0's mail program itself. And the .PDF capability inside the browser seems to be a part of the browser itself, or it MAY be using the attachment rendering part of the mail program.

Yup. I receive alot of attachments on work emails, and all of them open on a bare-metal install of .140 without docviewer.alx OR Docs 2 Go

I haven't tested attachments with .230 but would assume it to be the same. The browser PDF capability is. (although I noticed sometimes you need to double-click the PDF link quickly to get it to start loading, this seemed more of an occasional problem on .140)
