Make sure you have BBM deleted off your phone, and rebooted before installing this version.

callme slow but where do you find the 5.0.0.230 installer?

i've uploaded the 5.0.0.230 & everything is working fine except my Quick Pro & my bbm is nowhere to be found. i tried to download the ota of the bbm & it fails to download & has a "907 invalid COD" message.

Not sure if I want the problems everyone is having with .230 but if I do decide to try it, after I do my apps backup with BBSAK do I restore everything back all at once or should I not restore the programs I know do not work with .230 like BerryPopup, Meterberry, and the version of Facebook that I have now? Or should I do a fresh install without using my backup?

What I would do is not restore anything except the address book and calendar. Just to make sure that the first day or so the device is stable. Then if it is, restore your apps and anything else. This way you know if it becomes unstable after you restore apps, you know its an app issue and not an issue with the OS.

Ok sounds good, but when the first 5.0 OS came out (I think it was .90) and I installed it, the calendar backup would not restore. Has this since been fixed?

just make two different backups. 1 5.0 friendly and one for if you go back to a 4.7.

I have all the bellshare applications and they all work pretty well. pop up works fine for me. I've seen it flash once in a while but it does what it's supposed to.

calendar issue as far as doubling events? Yup it's still here. Just do an advance backup leave them out and you'll be fine

also note to check and remove vendor.xml if it hasn't been done so already....

i'm still having problems with my BBM. it give me a code "907" when trying to install. what's that about?

Have you tried installing from the desktop?
