Thread: Can 9500 be flashed with 9530 OS?

Sorry for the stupid question if it was! I'd like to know that it is possible to flash the 9530 OS on the 9500 device?

no its not, but you can use the radio from a 9500 with the java from a 9530 but this is tricky work and not always compatible, what exactly were you trying to do

I lost my 9530 and my friend offers me a new 9500. Actually I was quite happy with 9530, so is there any difference ofradio reception between those devices?

well who is your carrier? 9530 CDMA and 9500 GSM

I live in Vietnam and my network provider is GSM. The radio reception was pretty good on my previous 9530. So that's why now I am confused with the 9500.

the 9530 was set up to be a world phone so it had the ability to get your network, with the 9500 you should have better coverage, and probably better data connections... so it may be good news!!!
