I think people out there make an effort to make a hybrid by spending their valuable time and share it here. we should appriciate that. In case of Gabriel' .4b, he said that he did not test it but post it here for people to have a go. you know what the risk is. Hybrids and leaks are not faultless we try it find faults/bugs Aren't we guinea pigs? If we try /use hybrids/leaks we all become Guinea pigs!!!

You're right Alositha and I hope Gabriel will not feel offended by his(hers) post, that to be honest, made me quite angry.
I'm more than happy to be given the opportunity to test Gabriel's hybrids.

in regards to the BB "addict" that doesnt wanna test things out, no one is putting a gun to your head to go and download it...exactly what Kiralina said, it's a good oppurtunity for us to test these hybrids and get the faults recognised and help the developer, in this case Gabriel to make it better than the Official releases in some cases...

ok guys, there's way too many hybrids out there these days getting updated by the minute....

i've downloaded Gabriel's 4.0.4b and gonna install it tomorrow....but i just somethings straight...

does the following work on this hybrid?

Google maps work.
I don't know for the rest. Try BBM 4.7 for OS 5.0 It is a download link posted by Gab in an earlier post.

Did you security wipe+BBSAK wipe?
That's what I have done and I have no problems-9500 Voda.

i've got the same problem...i've done a wipe with bbsak and loaded the OS, but it's been sitting on the startup loading for about 15 minutes now...how is the 4.0.2b running people....

Hey Gabriel good work.
I installed the 4.0.4b into the 5.0.0.154 directory and everything works GREAT except two reboots in the last 24 hours.
here are a few things. Flickscrolling works, but when you scroll in messages, there seem to be some bugs. At first I thoght there is no Camera but you have to set it up for the standard camera button.
Programs I've tried Übertwitter runs wonderfull with flickscrolling
Nav4all, StormSlider an Orientation lock.

The new textmark looks nice and everything feels faster and smoother, and the browser has lots of new options.

does 3g work with this? I remember Kiralina said something like that. if so can you tell me how to get it done. i am using 2g as 2g & 3g does not work for me. thanks

here are a few more bugs.

Big time when I get SMS, the storm reboots. Now I wanted to reload the 4.7.0.173, but still after I made a wipe, there was the message
The file net.rim.blackberry.fastpredictiveIM doesn't exist...

so I reinstalled the Hybrid version. 3G works fine here.

some ideas???
