It has been quiet for awhile. I think there was a massive surge of link, so now everything is at a stand still. Nobody wants to get fired...I am sure RIM is firing rockets up peoples arses who leaked the previous versions, so now it is just a waiting game. Be patient and the leaks will start to come again. The workers just need to let things calm down.

Honestly, I am surprised too. As there are way more carriers and users with a 9500. I really hope something leaks soon for you 9500 peoples

We can only try to inject bits of hope....but leaks depend solely on leakers and if they are willing to take the risks associated.

One must ask the question. If and when an Os or hybrid fulfills all the capabilities of hardware in a device what is the point of further development?

    6V10 could be just that.

Motorola Z8 died a premature death because of poor support and the new Moto phones have a poor following stemming from this!! I hope RIM dont follow suit. Samsung are becoming an interesting proposition!

Remember we dont buy a phone to work on them but to work them. I think the Storm originally launched in `08 is long past its sell by date. Launched at $ 1000 and now selling $ 50 and less. Does that tell you something?

I agree with all of you. Just a few years ago the PC industry was growing and advancing at a pace that no one could keep up with. your brand new PC was obsolete in 3 months, Macs not as fast but still at a quick pace for a few grand worth of electronics.

We are seeing it now with the cell phone market. iphone is a perfect example, they grew quick and replaced itself at a speed that made people mad/upset/retarded. Mac has always done that, they shouldnt have been surprised.

And now all the other handset manufacturers are having to catch up. The Tour should have had wifi, in fact it was planned. But the supplier for RIM didnt meet the deadline. Every year now a feature handset gets a new version... enV on verizon is a gross example. Now PDA manufacturers are having to do the same thing.

You will see the whole model of US cell culture change. I think VZW is ahead, offering month to month and one year contracts, and also an annual upgrade program. The other carriers are behind in this area and trying to stick with a model that is outdated. That is one of the reasons Sprint is bleeding customers.

I wouldnt do a two year contract unless I knew that i could upgrade every 12 months, but even better i can spend like 70 more and do a one year and upgrade in 10 months. or drop the cabbage on a full retail. now all we need is our beloved RIM to be more efficient.... and maybe they could leak more OSs so that we can break and fix them.

all hail this thread...we need a leak and this is so demoralising seeing the 9530's streak ahead especially on os 5.0. we havent had 1 thats even functional in my books...i cant even reach activated on the past 2!

may the leakers take pity...lol...i realise its up to them but feels like things are really being rubbed in our faces....we cant even relate to threads and have o just say the same things....
