Yea, Sorry I saw that in your last post after I posted. I ended up getting Crackutil to work (which has a wipe option) this way. Im on vista 32, but it might work for you

    Download and install Crackutil HERE
Go to C:\Program Files\CrackUtil (I believe you have an x86 in there also)
Right click on javaloader and select properties.

Check the highlighted box for run as admin.
    Close out of Crackutil

    Now follow this,
    Windows Vista:
Go to the main hard drive (usually C:\ drive)
    Click on ?Users?
Select the appropriate user profile the client uses
Click the ?Application Data? folder (make sure all hidden files and folders are displayed)
Click the ?Research In Motion? folder
    Click the ?Blackberry? folder
    Delete the ?Intellisync? folder
Reconnect RIM device and complete a synchronize
Note: To enable all hidden files and folders open Windows Explorer and click Tools > Folder Options > View > Click ?Show Hidden Files and Folders?.

My path was C:\Users\Shane\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Delete the Itellisync folder

Here is were I had to make folders visible.

Click on on the Organize Tab and select Folder and search Options.

Select Show Hidden Files and Folders.
Now close out of all of that.

Next plug in your phone and Right click on the Crackutil shortcut on your desktop and select "Run as Administrator"
This is how I got mine to work. Let me know if it helps.

i keep getting the error password in correct or phone not connected. The phone is connected because my DM syncs with it and I don't use a password. What is wrong now.

Make sure all BB desktop process's are closed before you open Crackutil... I got the same errors, but the above steps corrected that issue.

No problem man... We still have some tricks up our sleeves! Ok... Simple I know but do you have your phone set to mass storage... Next, do you have anything else running in the background? We will start with those...

There could be a driver issue. Have you updated through windows update lately. There is a chance something is not current.

Ya I have two... 1st one: Your right clicking on the icon and running as an administrator every time? I realize Shane had you select that option but, I still have to do it with all of those apps except DM!
#2 You can select the link in my signature again and go to the BBSAK link and download NETFRAME 2.0... I had a problem with these apps until I downloaded that!

Make sure you have the most recent Microsoft .NET framework installed on your computer for BBSAK to work. This is available via Windows Update, but because it is an optional update, you'll need to select to view all available updates and then manually select the update.

Now then, with JL_CMDER, the catch with 64-bit Vista computers is that you have to download the non-installer version. You can download this to any folder on your computer (including the desktop), extract the folder, then substitute the Choice file as directed in the previous post with the link to JL_CMDER on Vista 64-bit. Under no circumstances do you want to be downloading the installer version. It won't work.

Once you have JL_CMDER properly downloaded and extracted double-click the JL_CMDER Windows Command Script file (not Javaloader.exe - that won't work). You'll then be prompted with a security warning - click Run and you should be good to go.

This should work, but you need to follow the steps exactly or it won't. The absolute most important things are to download the non-installer version of JL_CMDER and the 32-bit Choice.exe file that is compatible with 64-bit Vista.

Well at this point we were trying to get any wiping software to work on his PC. It all boils down to the loader in DOS not recognizing the processes

I got it to work. the only thing is that the icon on my desktop is different. Is that normal. Instead of it being the typical icon, now it's 2 gears.
