Thread: .75 OS Base Cures Certain Upgrade Bugs

Ok, It has been claim, and proved, in another forum, that having a base OS (.75) on your phone and pc during an upgrade then loading .113 to PC then to phone cures the MMS forwarding bug. (Thus explain/justifying it being an Official OS candidate) Could possibly the base install of .90(instead of .75) cure the signal/color banding issues?

So are you saying we should install 75 on our PC?
Or install on our BB, leave it on the PC and upgrade to the Hybrid?

What Civic is saying is that if .75 is installed on your PC and BB, then install .113 on your PC. Just prior to loading .113 to your phone, delete .75 from PC. The end result is a "non-broken" MMS cod. This is all done with no wiping, as she's saying that the base structure stays during the process.

Yes, a couple have tried with success. I have no doubt Civic is spot on with this. What I'm wondering is that could this solve other bugs in other OS's.

I agree with you though, I dont think I would do it if it didnt work on others OS's.
Not worth installing 113 just for that. My opinion at least.

I'm on the V3 and am not having the MMS problem that i have had with all the other leaked updates, I am assuming you are talking about not being able to forward a pic someone has sent you. Is that the fix you are talking about?

Yes gatewayad, It fixes this problem .113 has with pic forwarding.
