Thread: Theme question

After I loaded v8.5 on my phone for some reason the theme that I had installed on my phone doesn't show show up in application list. If I look at the modules I can see it there but I can't delete it from there. It isn't listed if I connect through DM either. Is there any way that I can delete it do I have to wait until I wipe my phone when BBC releases his next hybrid. It isn't a big deal, I just don't use it anymore.

You should just be able to highlight it, menu key and delete when you are in applications. Or you can use BBDM and app loader to remove it by deselecting the checkbox next to the theme.

It doesn't show up as an application. From the app menu I have to go to menu>modules then I can see it.

Another thing that happened is 3rd party apps aren't bold anymore like they used to be, anybody else notice this.

I moved this thread to the Hybrids by BBCrackman forum. Hopefully someone will have had a similar instance.
Question. How long have you had this hybrid on your device? If it has been on for a few days, would you consider wiping your device and reinstalling the base and the hybrid again?

I've had this happen also and I think it had to do with the order I did the restore. There are 2 ways I know of to do what you want to do:
1- DL and install BBSAK 1.5 (You can use it to delete specific COD files from your phone.)
or
2- DL the theme again then delete it. (For some reason when you DL the theme, the phone then recognizes it again.)

As for the 3rd party apps not bold...check the permissions on them. I think bold means you have allowed all permissions for that app. I'm sure there are more qualified users who will chime in here though.

Thanks for moving it for me.

I've had v8.5 since BBC released it to members, it doesn't bother me that much that I would want to wipe and reinstall. I can leave it there until the next hybrid comes out.

This was the first time that I used BBSAK to backup and reload my 3rd party apps, maybe that has something to do with it. I'll try to delete it using BBSAK.

I checked and all the permissions are set to allow, anybody else have a idea.

yes have you tried to redownload the theme ota? from where you got it originally?

I have to try to find the link, I think I have it saved on my home PC.

what theme is it I will try to find you one, and was it a paid theme or free?

It is the private version of elle that was given to donators.
