Thread: 114 V3 Install questions and help

hey guys thanks for the great site and help with the OS system. I love the Storm but the leaked OS' work way better so that is why I am here. I am starting the install of the Hybrid V3 so hopefully if I have questions you can help me.

I will start with the instructions given but for a newb I will probably need a little guidance.

thanks fella's. I just ran the base 114 OS do I need to do anything else or move straight to the unzip of the V3 then follow your instructions?

Move straight to the V3.

in the loader file I have 2 files one for the current .99 version I was running and the other was the 114 do I need to delete the .99 file.

Its not good to have more than 1 OS installed.

crap already went into the loader hopefully there will be no issues but I am sure we can fix it if necessary right. LOL

of course we can.
And i doubt you'll have issues.

its doing its thing now will update in a minute or two.

guys one step I think I missed was

8) Yes to downgrade (2nd Option- bottom option/bubble)


what happens if I missed this step? I thought it would pop up a window and ask me but it never did so I pressed on without checking the box you speak of in the step

Ah, that might be an issue. Nothing to worry about.
check your about screen and tell me what version it says.
If it doesnt say .114 144 then you're gona hae to redo it with the downgrade option

it says v4.7.0.114 with platform 4.0.0.144

it should say platform 143 I bet. gdamnit I should read better. LOL

so I need to run it again and make sure I downgrade this time right? This is because the phone actually says platform 144.

its says .114 platform 144 ?

v3 is suppose to say .114 platform .144
