I downloaded .140. I am going threw the normal sets after install, and when I tried to send the service books it gave a error. So I tried to run a diagnostics test and it locks up my bb. Any help would be appreciated.
it gives me the error when i resend my service books but it registers so i don't worry about it
Are you on Verizon? IF so have you tried sending them from the BIS website? If not try sending from there and see if that let's them go through.

That has been the preferred method for me as far as sending the service books MD and that is to log into BIS and send via web.
And like you, I discovered early on that the Network diagnostic tool locks up the device.

As previously suggested sending the service books from BIS should solve the problem. Sometimes if your device is not registered with the network or the service books haven't been sent successfully data in general will not work properly. I would bet that your Internet Browser wouldn't work either when the service books failed to be sent from the device. Just $.02, good luck
