I understand your question,but what I don't understand is .191 leaking memory. That happens to be one of the best as far as memory goes

I've been on .140 since it leaked and love it. working camera,5.0 bbm, and no memory leaks...

has anyone had apps work on 191 and not 140 and vice versa problem?

I haven't found a memory leak yet. I've found a few applications that don't work but hardly any memory leak.

BerryBuzz does not work on 191 at all but did on 140. Meterberry also does not work with 191 also worked with 140. BerryWeather works but has it's issues with 191, none on 140. Those are some of the few I can think of.

my recommendation to you is to just try a few out for yourself and see what you think....

most people have discovered that some Storms function better on different OS's than others.....you'll see some people saying one is by far the best, and others saying that OS stinks....it gets confusing because you'll try one that is supposed to be great and your Storm acts goofy....

a lot of people have fallen in love with .191 and say it is incredibly fast, however I tried it and my Storm was complete junk.....I've been on .151 for the longest of any OS and my Storm is the best it's ever been.....however many people have tried it and think just the opposite...

I'd say start with the last "official" Verizon OS (.148) and then work your way through the leaks up to the latest (.191)....make sure you are following the recommendations of wiping your phone between installs and try each out for a few days.....there may be some that you know right away that your Storm isn't liking, and you can move past those more quickly....

Good luck! There are a lot of pros (myself excluded) that are around on BBOS to help you.....

likes others have said ive had no memory leak on 191 either

and to those few that answered the 191 vs 140 apps thanks for the heads up on which u guys know off hand, i will soon be buying a app to tether my berry to my laptops
