Thread: What Radio Do I Have?

Can anyone tell me how to see exactly what radio your phone is running? I attempted to change the radio file on my phone today and I want to double check to see if I got the correct loader file.

Thanks but all that does is show me the version I'm currently running. It doesn't show the actual. If I downloaded this version without changing the radio it wouldn't read any different.

The radio is determined by the platform number, once you know what platform you are on check this thread out:

actually isn't the radio always show in the os version? 5.0.0.140....140=radio?

No. The radio can be a totally different version. I think that I do have the radio I wanted to download, thanks.

no, the radio goes off the platform for instance:

4.7.0.148 4.0.0.136, its running .148 OS but has .109 radio

based on the above, where does .109 came from?

i have version 4.7.0.173
platform 4.0.0.212

what is my radio? .212 or .173?

I am not sure on that platform number? But if you installed .173 straight you have the .173 radio (sfi). The only time a radio file could be different from your os is if you swaped a radio or installed a hybrid that uses a different radio.

yes i installed it from scratch. so it means i have a .173 radio? thanks for the help.

another question will platform change everytime u install a straight OS? (not a hybrid)

becoz i have the same platform shown above on .173 when i was still on .167 OS.
