    OK. Here we go.
Downloaded successfully and everything is working so far. Did the mandatory battery pull after install just to make sure. First impressions:
    1. Browser is at warp speed. Huge improvement.
    2. Orientation is quicker especially after I deleted the log files and hid "All Types".
    3. Camera works much more smoothly with very little lag on the click (shutter) reaction time. Also, color seems improved.
    4. Phone functions are good and signal strength is stronger from my usual locale.
    5. Using Zen Theme with a custom home screen and still can't get the picture to "fit to screen" in Portrait mode no matter what settings I use. Not a big deal but a little annoying
    6. Memory is up and will monitor along with battery drain and see if it holds better. Battery was not a real problem with V2 but hope to see some improvement.

All in all this appears to be the best yet. Except for me wishing for a "GO" or "SEND" button on the keyboard for e-mails and messaging, I don't see what can be improved. Big kudos to BBCrackman and cohorts for making this possible. I'm just a simple user but love my toys & like to keep current.
    Again, a big thank you.

    Glad you're enjoying it.

Here is a tip for send on email:

    1. When the keyboard is up take your finger and swipe down on it. this will remove the keyboard and you will see a send button.
    2. When you are down typing your message hit the BB button twice and this will also send the email.

Well v3 is pretty nice. The only thing I have again is the problem with the locking. Everytime I receive a call, sms, email the phone unlocks. Wouldnt be a problem but I carry my phone in my pocket. So the phone is always dialing someone.
    Anybody got a fix?
    I wiped before install.

    Thanks

check out bbc's instructions and see if you can get it set.

I will be moving this to the 114 thread which you should also check out.

You may find what you are looking for from other peoples posts, but we will be there if you can't get it going.

Installation instructions if you are already running the Hybrid
If you are reading this, the file has been extracted

    1. Rt click on extracted file 9530-v4.7.0.114_P4.0.0.143

    2. Go to Loader Files (C:/ program files/ common files/ research in motion/ shared/ loader files/)

rt click and paste, yes to overwrite

    3. Up 2 levels to C:/ program files/ common files/ research in motion/ apploader/ delete vendor.xml

    4. Same folder double click Loader.exe (looks like a phone)

    5. Yes to downgrade

    6. Back Up

    7. Choose your apps you want installed

    8. Verify installation

    9. Finish

    New Installation

If you are reading this, the file has already been extracted

    1. Download and install the .114.exe OS

    2. Rt click on extracted file 9530-v4.7.0.114_P4.0.0.143

    3. Go to Loader Files (C:/ program files/ common files/ research in motion/ shared/ loader files/ )

rt click and paste, yes to overwrite

    4. Up 2 levels to C:/ program files/ common files/ research in motion/ apploader/ delete vendor.xml

    5. Same folder double click Loader.exe (looks like a phone)

    6. Yes to downgrade

    7. Back Up

    8. Choose your apps you want installed

    9. Verify installation

    10. Finish

After install, go to C:/ program files/ common files/ research in motion/ shared/ loader files, rt click on the .114 os
and "Rename". I would just put an "A" at the end. This will prevent the DM from asking you to update every time you
connect and eliminate the possibility of you overwriting the Hybrid.
