.191 Freezes Often

I install .191 right when it leaked, I just installed it over my old OS, about halfway through the day it began freezing completely when i typed more than 2 or 3 words in SMS and on occasion when using flick-scroll in long item lists. I figured it may be a problem with the install due to installing over a prior OS. I then decided to wipe the phone completely with BBSAK and then reinstall .191, After doing this all the freezing seemed to have stopped, for about a day that is. Today it started again, I have had 5 or 6 freezes while trying to use sms and now it even froze when i was using my calculator. I currently have the default theme only due to needing the designer of the theme I bought having to send me a new OTA via email still. I am running Weatherbug, Stormslider, Lock Tilt, Blink trial version and Google maps, Those are the only apps I have on my phone currently. Please help, if anyone has encountered this issue and has a way to fix it I would very much appreciate it. I love .191, it is the best OS I have used on my storm so far, I do not want to have to downgrade.

My only suggestion would be to perform a security wipe from the phone and include all third party apps. This way you can rule out whether its something with your apps or the OS.

Another quick tip would be disable your memory cleaner. Idk if you use it or not but having it active will cause you device to slow down a bit.

Nope, Stoptilt is buggy, Locktilt is the safe alternative. BTW guys, I think I figured out the problem, for some reason there is a bug in .191 with the sms, if you have too long of a convo sitting in the sms section it begins freezing things. I cleared my convos and it is working without a hitch again :)

Do explain, 'cause I have 5 different convos currently in SMS and one of them is really long. Like i can scroll for ever to just get to the first message... but my phone hasn't froze or slowed down... but i'll keep an eye out for it.

I think this may be a bug that is "device oriented" therefore it may not happen to everyone, I know that the freezes were constant when I tryed to type long sms texts, when i did a fresh install of .191 it was gone for like a day, which is about the same time it took for my sms convos to get pretty huge. After I cleared my device convos everything is working smoothly once again. Hopefully this bug will be gone by the next leak. Anyway, If i run into this freezing problem again I will prolly try removing my 3rd party apps and reinstalling one by one to see if that is the issue but so far I think the bug resided in my sms section and clearing long convos seems to address the issue, at least for me. Thanks for everyones suggestions though :D

P.S. I never had a problem scrolling through my convos, it would freeze when i was in the middle of a response, usually 2 or 4 words into a response and a complete device freeze requiring a battery pull would happen.
