Hadnt had a chance to install the hybrid again with the new fixe and before I do Im wondering if the new fix has fixed the notifications with apps like bchat for instance. When I was running the hybrid I was using bchat, bbm and they worked except when I recieved a text or message I got no sound or vibration. I was using default theme, and I had my settings right in profiles, maybe there is just something Im looking over. Any help would be appreciated.

actually that's not the hybrid. its compatibility issues with 5.0

Guys,

so after about 40 hours of use on this os:
Very stable no random boots or even a need for manual reboots.
Unless you try to use meter or quick reset.
Flick scrolling great except for messages(email,sms,mms,phone log)
meterberry and quicklaunch (with boot)works but quickpull and reset for meterberry not working.
Most 3rd parties work great.
Of course all of the rim licensed 3rd party apps do not work yet.
Most themes work with a few problems. But if you go into options and select 3 rows save and put it back to 2 rows it usually fixes problems such as icons not showing up and missing text.
Overall considering that these modules are not ready for real use , you have cooked up a very nice hybrid. Thanks for all your hard work and for your help in the forum, (ooak and randy) i am in your debt. If you ever need beta testing let me know.

i just installed the hybrid and was wondering if there is a way to fix the scrolling in the messages windows. Everything else works great and really does feel like .191

I would recommend using the up and down arrows that are located at the bottum right hand of the screen. That will help you scroll back to the top.

Not sure if there is a way to get threaded message on this hybrid. You understand that the 191 threaded message comes from the sfi radio file. There is an application called bchat that has threaded chat.

what exactly do you mean by overlap in the browser? I have not noticed anything of this nature thus far.

ive been playing around with the hybrid and its definatley a cool build. i am not sure if this is just my storm but when opening sms, email, or messages it takes approximatly 5 seconds to open. I read the install instructions and followed them exactly.

It may just be your phone. Remember you have to complete multiple 30 second battery pulls and with this hybrid 5 is recommended. Try a battery pull and see if that helps out.

I loaded it again today with the new rar file. When going to sites like Facebook the text from one line overlaps the next by 2-3 characters. I have tried this at least 5 times. I want to move to 5.0 but have to go back to Beta6v10.
