Repligo reader won't scroll at all. I suspect it is incompatible with 191. Can anyone else confirm this observation? I need a pdf reader to study for school and repligo was the best I've found. Is there a good pdf reader that works with 191?

i just wanted to say i had to come back to .191 i tried .140 for a few hours cause i missed my camera kinda and i must say i kinda wanted to test that os to see if it would help protect my storm from smashing against the wall

191 itself has a nice PDF reader built into the browser, but it's only useable for web linked PDFs, it won't render a PDF saved to the memory card. Perhaps Docs2Go Premium would work, but I wouldn't spend money to find out. Instead, install the Docs2Go Standard that ships with the BB OS, and activate the Premium trial mode. If it doesn't work, just uninstall Docs2Go, if it works I know it is a relatively pricey program. I really don't understand why Adobe can't release an Acrobat Reader for BlackBerry, i'd even pay a few bucks for it.

Besides the "camera" what is everyone using for soft-resets??

I use Q/L but a few themes don't have the Reset built in so Q/L won't work.

Dave12308: thanks. I tried docs2go premium and the pdfeditor works. It is on sale for $30 but I wouldn't use any premium features but pdf so it is still not worth it. I am going to try converting the pdf to a doc or if possible an ebook for ereader and see how that goes.

QL should work with themes or without if you mean via convenience key or and icon...

I'm on 191 and the QL reset isn't working for me. I'm using Natemz Blak_N_Red theme and everything but the reset works. Would love some help with this. Thanks in advance. By the way this theme is the best!

Well it seems that maybe I'm wrong or getting more forgetful than I thought, but I have had .191 for 2 weeks now which for one is the longest an OS has made it on my phone and I know that the first week while checking .191 out I tried Q/L to reset since Meterberry wasn't compatible. I found SoCalMiles Zen 5.0 Hybrid theme worked and Orbital, but Moodberry, Win7 and Vistacomplete did not work.

Since posting yesterday I went back through these themes and I can't get any of them to perform a reset through Q/L either, so I do apologize for this bum intel. Sucks getting over 40 the rumors are starting to come true :laugh2:

I can install Quickpull Pro, it reboots, then I can reset using QP. ONE TIME! Then it never works again unless I uninstall it and install it again.

I still use the quickpull hybrid (Camera).

What's this about forgetting over 40? Do I even have a Storm? :amish:

Anyway, I thought I was the only over 40 person here and I've been forgetting things for 25 years.

This might have been mentioned in the previous million posts, but am I the only one that has a problem with the phone going on random mute every once in a while during a longer phone call? I have screenlock and have tried hitting the mute key to unmute, no effect. have to disconnect and call back. Any ideas?

Also having fun when I am updating something on my FB page and in the middle of typing the virtual keyboard disappears and my typing zooms the screen in. Must be touching too high on the keyboard and it minimizes it.

If your keyboard disappears on you, turn down the swipe sensitivity. It probably is registering your natural movements as a downward flick.

Which mute key are you indicating? The mute key on top of the device or the key on the touchscreen itself.

I believe this happens on third party themes on most of the latest OSs. If it gets stuck on mute just hit the Blackberry button to select unmute. That should fix it.

I have no Themes, have a couple 3rd party apps; poynt, gmaps, weatherbug. things like that. nothing crazy. I have tried the onscreen mute and the device mute to unmute. it does nothing. this has been happening since i put in .191 which was when It was first leaked. I have since then wiped and installed Lyric/OOAKDPC when they came out with their 5.0 hybrid and then came back to .191. Both times had the mute issue. it seems to only happen when calls last close to 20 mins. I made a call after I installed .191 for the second time and it happened. was on my way home and at that point I had absolutely no 3rd party apps installed yet. More annoying than anything else.

I just tried it and it works for me. Touching the screen does not work. But if I hit the bb button and select "Turn Mute Off" it unmutes it. Are you saying that does not work for you?
