Just installed it as an upgrade. Proces went very well!
All apps running (execept for Agendus Weekview-grid but that's due to Agendus).
46.1Mb free, running very smooth!

memory leak is still there yesterday 2am when i installed it shows 50.0mb now 10 am

i didnt use my phone ( standby only)

i got one question
im running 113 or 114 ?

I believe it is the best of both of them...BBC will have to clarify.

Youre going to have some leak, there is not a way to stop it, only to control it a little better. Reason behind this is of the programs that continually run in the background....

It is the best of both, just look at your Options/about

should be v114 pl 144, hybrid of 113

im nwb in this storm thing, there is any how to install this hybrid other than the read me file in the zip file, or it has to be the same proces than other bb's just with copy and paste process

I agree with bbcrackman there's no way to avoid leaks as It has to do with many parameters

Also themes has to do with leaks
I found out that some themes (especially Simple ones) won't leak THAT much
More complex themes with effects, slides, animations and also a custom background (rather the theme's predefined) and all that stuff will drain your available RAM
and will leave you with a steady 17~13Megabytes for upto 3 days with lotsa use of IM, Surf etc etc

THIS ROM works even better than previous

I have over a dozen themes and In their vast majority are "heavy"
I usually work with AppleBerry Glass 1.2 (which Is a well known heavy weight theme and requires A LOT of resources)
I'm always on with FaceBook (I post a lot) and use every now and then IM such as Live Messenger and BB IM
also medium to heavy emailing, medium surfing etc etc
this ROM behaves awesome
after one whole day I'm left with a steady 27Meg free (from 37Meg after a pull)
No lags, no Problems, No hourglasses

i have started this day with 57 mb free memory right now im sitting on 17 mb.
here are my settings
theme: stock with my custom wallpaper
just to try this i havent used my email, only a couple texts (10 or 15 maybe) no web surfing, no gps, no IM, less phone calls than ever, only wheater app running, 3 batt pulls allready.
should be like that?
when i was running .113 my mem leak has been going between 57 to 47 or so, im a heave txt user (between 1000 to 1500 a month) my data goes from 3 to 3.5 gb a month so i think i am a heavy data user too.

That does not seem right to me somewhere you have a big memory leak but it's not apparent where. I have a lot of 3rd party apps and my memory fluctuates between 30-40mb.

actually when i was posting i was doing a batt pull, after that it shows 52 mb now it shows 48 so i think 4 mb in 15 mins is too much, any idea on what im wrong?

Seems like you are doing everything right even though a 4mb drop is not that much. Did you wipe your phone prior to installing the hybrid. You might want to wipe your handheld and reinstall the hybrid.

no i didnt i will do it now, just one question i need the os .113 or .114 to work with the hybrid?

1. Yes, I need help to clarify this also. do we have to install the .114 before we install the hybrid V1?

2. and by the way all the V2 and V3 is only for 9530 ?? and for 9500 is only V1?

3. do we have to Wipe out everything or just "upgrade" from .113 to .114 to V1?

really appreciate the answer. I would really like to optimize my storm
