I used a Nokia E71 for a while and while it looked nice the UI was a pain in the butt. But that was my only real experience with them. Anyway hope you're enjoying the new OS.

Sorry I'm still new to BB storm. I update my firmware to .113 from the forum link to official BB OS. Works very well compared to the previous firmware.

What is the "Hybrid" version? study the video to install this hybrid version, looks a bit "challenging".

If I fail to upgrade with this hybrid, can I go back and re-install the .113?

    thanks to all

Yes Eddy, you can always go back to .113 if you don't like it. As for the hybrid, If you have any problems, just ask. There are lots of people here to help with any problem you run into

my Storm firmware is .113 downloaded from the official link. it says:
    v.4.7.0.113 platform 4.0.0.144

do I still need to install 9500 hybrid v1? I downloaded the Hybrid V1, and the file name says :
    9500-V4.7.0.113-P4.0.0.144
Looks like the same with what I have installed on my device??.

Sorry for keep asking, because I want to optimize my storm yet I want to be very careful in upgrading the firmware....

    thanks

The files do look the same but they are different. Download hybrid v1 then copy and paste these into 113. Hope this helps.
