I have used this hybrid for quit a while. I have tried all the 5.0 hybrids but always end up back here. The only issue I had was the Slacker issue with the 151 radio. After seeing a tweet from gordtm yesterday I tried something new. I was testing a 5.0 hybrid but was still having some issues as well as knowing Facebook wouldn't work I went back and did the following:
1) Installed 151 on my PC
2) Installed Beta6v10
3) Shrink-n-OS and shrunk the software and did swap a radio to 167 SFI
4) Wiped the phone with BBSAK
5) Installed with Apploader.
I have been running this for about 18 hours and it has been excellent. It is extremely fast and with no clocking. Also I have been listening to Slacker now for 2 1/2 hours with no issues. All my apps work excellent. This is the best my Storm has ever been!

What version of shrink-a-os should I be running to try this or does it matter. I have 3.5 installed, think I remember reading about an upgrade.
For the .167 radio swap, it is included in the newest version of shrink-a-os v 3.9
You can download it from the theiexplorers.com
Download and check to make sure it is 3.9
The .rar link hadn't been updated earlier, but the .zip did.
so it sounds like it is worth switching to the .167 radio...

You'll find the memory will start leaking a bit more than just the straight v10 without the radio swap, but it doesn't affect performance at all.Quote:

I am a theme and app junkie.
I've read that apps are working with 6v10, but how about themes? I have at least 10 (haven't checked them all) that won't work. They go all crazy and I have to delete them through DM to get my phone to even let me do anything to it. I'm running 6v7 right now on the 9530.
Should I load the 6v10?
