    USB using .191

    Hi,

Upgraded to 5.0.191, did battery pull like 9 times already. When plug USB into a laptop using Windows XP SP3, it said failed to install USB device.

As the result, the phone won't charge or at least doesn't have the charge symbol on the phone.

One thing to note. Blackberry desktop does recognize the Storm and I am able to do sync fine.

I had the same problem with Vista originally, but after 5 battery pull it solved itself. Can't seem to do the same with XP SP3. Worked fine when I had 4.7.151 though.

Even when it say on the phone "USB charging current is not sufficient. Verify that your handheld is connected to a powered USB charging source..."

It is the same cable I used before the upgrade...

I am not using .191, but have heard of fixing this by simply restarting their computers.

is it possible you removed BB desktop manager? Your comment " failed to install USB device" sound like it maybe a device/pc driver issue
