Thread: help! trouble removing .191 from phone

Hey guys-

I'm having trouble removing .191 from my phone. I'm trying to downgrade to Lyricidal's beta 6v10, so I wiped my phone using BBSAK. However, when it loaded AFTER the wipe, the .191 load screen started, and it gets to about 1/3 the way done when it goes to the white screen saying Error: Reload Software 507. At this point, I try to launch the hybrid from the shrink-a-os loader and it says there is no software for this device! I've tried a factory reset and I keep getting the same thing. Any suggestions on what to do?! Thanks!

Go into control panel add/remove programs and tell me what is listed for Blackberry

it shows the 5.0 software...I know I'm supposed to delete it, but I forgot. Would that affect the app loader though?

Seems to be ok now, thanks for the control panel tip. After deleting the 5.0 software from there (even though I did it manually in my RIM folder) and doing another factory reset, it seems to have worked. Thanks for the help!

Happens to the best of us, I was trying to reinstall .191 and forgot to remove the RIM internal tools, 2x (did a reinstall a few hrs after the 1st install), and didn't realize it till i was about to load the app and saw a random program (forgot wat it was called)
