Correct me if I'm wrong, don't you have to take 191 off your phone?

    4) Install 140
    5) Install 140 on your phone

Ths will allow for bbm5 (which does not matter), you will have a camera, flick scrolling, weatherbug gave me some issues, youmail is good, vvm is good, myspace and you tube I do not use so I am unsure.
It says not off phone... But that does make sense now that i went back and read everyones comments... Help me guys i need to know what to do since my phone is waiting on our guys response...

As long as you have your backup from .191 you can just wipe and then install .140

The options folder in your backup will give you flick scrolling on .149

They need to put that in the instructions... It does say to not take 191 off your phone.

Well it isn't a requirement to remove it, you should be able to just downgrade.

But the main thing about this is the .191 backup is what you NEED for this to work. (unless you can get the files mentioned a few posts back)

Make sure you've done the obvious things too like remove rim tools (quincy) and the vendor file.

If you have .140 on your PC and you are ready to wipe and load up, try this method http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/r...oader-exe.html

Its quick and easy. I do it this way all the time now.

You don't need to remove .191 from your phone. When you are loading OS onto your phone with app loader, you will be asked if you want to "downgrade to an older version"...or something like that...whenever asked that always go for the downgrade. Hope this helps...

When you delete .191 off your PC are you going back to the file and deleting anything else under Loader files before you load .140 ? ...and vendor.xml are you deleting that, and deleting rim tools?

    I dunno then...worked for me, but I didn't like .140 squirrellyness, and went to straight .191. I don't need camera, and I LOVE .191

    Good luck my friend...
