    Do I need:
    DOD Root Certificates
IQC (What is IQC? I've never seen it anywhere. Sorry if thats a dumb question)
    Blackberry S/MIME Support Package
icq its an old messenger program.

    Blackberry S/MIME Support Package:
Confidentiality. Integrity. Authentication. Non-repudiation. BlackBerry® Enterprise Solution with the S/MIME Support Package* increases the already high level of security provided by the BlackBerry® solution. It incorporates device and desktop software components and BlackBerry® Enterprise Server Client Access Licenses (CALs) to provide organizations with extended security features such as:

    * Certificate and private key management tools – Users can store their private key and their contacts' public keys on their BlackBerry smartphone and synchronize certificates and keys when they connect their device to their PC.

    * Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) support – BlackBerry Enterprise Solution with the S/MIME Support Package works with popular PKIs, including Entrust® PKI versions 5 and 6, Verisign® and Netscape®.

    * Wireless support for certificate lookup and validation – Obtain certificates from Windows® certificate stores, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) certificate servers, a secure LAN location or a Common Access Card (CAC) SmartCard. Organizations can also verify certificate status wirelessly via Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) and Certificate Revocation List (CRL) servers.

    * Support for encrypting and decrypting PIN and email messages – Users can experience all of the benefits of sending and receiving S/MIME messages from their BlackBerry smartphone while they’re on the go.

    DOD Root Certificates:
the department of deference they use encrypted certificates which are embedded on CAC card this module allows the blackberry to read the information on the card correctly so the user can actually use their hand held.
This is for high security corporations like the Department Of Defense.
    hope this help

    1) Downloaded OS without the Internal Tools.
    2) Installed OS
    3) Backed up phone
    4) Removed Vendor.xml
    5) Went to Shrink-A-OS and took out
    - All languages except French, Spanish, and UK English
    - AIM
    - Flickr
    - ICQ (What is ICQ?)
    - Voice Activated Dialing
~ Vodaphone Music App (What exactly is this? It's not the music player on the .148 version is it? I didn't remove this because I listen to music a lot and didn't want to mess it up)

    6) Shrink My OS > OS has been Shrunk
    7) What do I do from here? I wanted to ask before I did anything else. I thought I messed up my phone the last time I did this
You now have the option to wipe. If your unsure then don't. Just run loader.exe from the same folder where the vendor file was.

ICQ is an old im app. I don't think it installs anyway. And no the music app is like the Verizon vcast the music application is included in the core apps and can't be removed. Hope this helps

    Wow that didn't take long.
What did you do to whip your phone?
Use jl_cmder to wipe. Be sure to backup your third party apps and databases such as contacts etc before you do It. I wiped mine before install and I love this os. Sometimes its well worth it and sometimes gains are minimal at best. You can he the judge all devices act differently

When you're in Language and Text input, go down three lines and tell me what that icon says.

It took me a few attempts to get rid of it but I can assure you we will get rid of it.

So I did a wipe, then reinstall .191 and added my bluetooth headset through Setup Bluetooth and it works, but I get static. Has anyone else seen these issues?

I'm still staying with .191. All the new features are GREAT!
I've yet to find a headset that works decently with my storm. The ones I've tried are nothing nice though either but should have more range than three feet. They are both crystal clear on other phones, I've come to the conclusion that the BT hardware itself is crap but like I said I haven't tried using a high end headset either

What's funny is I had issues with every OS with my BT until 191. Now it works perfectly, loud and crystal clear. I am using the Jawbone Prime.

When you set up ur bluetooth make sure you are away from anything electrical.
