its easy. all you do is install the OS to your computer, then plug your phone in and install. its not that big of a deal, once you do it once, you can do it a million times with your eyes closed. Seriously if you know how to use a computer at all it wont be hard. Guys I read the reviews and waited to load this OS. Well I loaded the file without the RIM Tools and the install went flawless.
I have to say that all the advantages that I read about (Threaded SMS, Flick Scrolling, speed of phone, new menus and color are EPIC! This OS is so impressive that I am going to use it all weekend.
I am coming from BBC's V8.5 and I loved that, but this 5 series OS is untouchable. All my 3rd party apps work, (QuickPull Pro, Beyond 160, Berry Weather, Quick Pull, Launch Pad, Memory Manager Pro, Battery Booster, File Manager Pro, BBOS Launcher, Bluff My Call, B of A, Forward with Edit )
The ONLY drawback for me is NO CAMERA as reported. I use my camera on my two kids, but my wife has a Tour and can take the pics until someone gets the camera to work or a later build.
Yet it and see. This thing is lightening fast and so much fun!
