It will sometimes take a few minutes to lock up, sometimes almost instantly. But it always locks up.

Note: I've tried wiping and reinstalling twice.
I am getting lock ups/ freezes but it is not as reproducible as yours. Mine seems to be a bit more random. At work right now but I think I am gonna try a wipe and reinstall later tonight.

Wow....i'm not seeing any of these issues. I friggin love this OS. The only thing that doesn't work is the camera and facebook. I think maybe some of you guys need to get wipe utilities and do a full wipe and reinstall. This OS is truly a sign of great things to come.

I would like to have a working camera, since i do use it often, but for now it makes a nice replacement for quick-pull

on a side note mark, the flick scroll you speak of on your os, is it the same as the flick scrolling in 191?
I can't honestly say as I only had .191 for about 5 minutes, but the flick scrolling I have now works great!! The only places it does not is SMS, e-mail list, and Call log. Also, I have been reading about people with random reboots under .191. I have yet to get one with my hybrid.

Also, text selection does not work, and that really does suck. Wonder if that can be addressed with .191 .cod files, but I wouldn't know which ones.

Who knows though, it is still early.

Any one having issues syncing with Outlook using DM that has loaded 191? It appears to sync but not all calander entries are making onto the phone calander.

I reloaded 191 this morning without doing a wipe. So my question is wipe or not to wipe.

While it sucks that the camera doesn't work, that is not enough for me to downgrade. I voted to stay with it.

    Smooth and fast
    Says 3G instead of 1XEV
    Flick Scrolling
    Threaded SMS
    Slacker Radio works PERFECTLY
    Good battery life
    Fast internet

MeterBerry doesn't work, though they just released a new version I have yet to test on .191 -- May solve that problem.
    No tabbed browsing
    No camera
    No BBM 5.0

Overall, the issues and bugs are not enough to keep me away. I rarely installed Facebook app on previous builds as it was a giant memory leak culprit. Having MeterBerry work would be nice, as well as having BBM 5.0, but still, not enough to keep me from this much nicer interface.

Also, I've noted with Pandora that every track stops with either 23 or 22 seconds left. And then will not advance to the next track until I manually tell it to do so. This is over bluetooth.. I have not tried through headphones or speaker yet.

You can go to your DM Loader and there will be an update. After uploading the update it will lower your tones and bring them back to the "old school' tones. Other then that you just keep your phone on medium.

Also noticed MMS doesn't register as being available, though I haven't yet done my battery pulls since re-installing .191... we shall see what happens though. I'll keep ya posted.

I totally agree. Got to wait for the next version. Too mujch going on with this right now. It's killing me not to install it but I need my apps and the camera.

Want to make sure I'm doing it right

Hi I'm getting ready to update to this OS but I want to make sure I'm doing it right. From what I've seen you all are the right group to ask. Nice and informed

    1) Downloaded OS without the Internal Tools.
    2) Installed OS
    3) Backed up phone
    4) Removed Vendor.xml
    5) Went to Shrink-A-OS and took out
    - All languages except French, Spanish, and UK English
    - AIM
    - Flickr
    - ICQ (What is ICQ?)
    - Voice Activated Dialing
~ Vodaphone Music App (What exactly is this? It's not the music player on the .148 version is it? I didn't remove this because I listen to music a lot and didn't want to mess it up)

    6) Shrink My OS > OS has been Shrunk
    7) What do I do from here? I wanted to ask before I did anything else. I thought I messed up my phone the last time I did this

Looks like you covered all the basis just hit launch loader in shrink and away you go

Make sure you don't have any other OS's installed on your PC
