is there a way to just change the .cod file once the os is installed, or would you need to wipe it and reinstall it just to add the .cod file?

False alarm?
to delete internal tools:
once installed on your pc go to control panel add/remove and delete the internal tools
Hello equus and welcome to BBOS.
You will need to uninstall the RIM Internal Tools.
After you have downloaded the OS to your PC, install the OS. One the OS has been installed, from your PC go to add/remove programs and let your applications populate.
Then find and uninstall the Tool Kit.
Be sure not to load the OS onto your device without deleting this first.
Fastest install I have had until this point!

Just a thought, if we left the internal tools in the build would it not help rim with their research? It seems as there were some tools in there for memory and battery stats. So by increasing their data available would it not give them a better read on the build?
