*LOL* I set my camera key to launch Opera, and I use the icon on the home screen as an alternative to Quickpull. It's quicker than Quickpull, as well....

The camera issue is strange to begin with, however, this is apparently an internal RIM build that has leaked to us, not a build that was for carrier testing. So it could even be intentional. Perhaps the .SFI file is literally missing the camera driver, and the reboot is because the app can't find a camera?

Just a thought. It could mean RIM has made some improvements to the camera driver to speed it up.

With a fixed camera, this would be what the Storm SHOULD have been at launch. Definitely FEELS more like a $600 device now.

I sort of wish the crash screen before the reboot didn't disappear so fast. If it could be read, it might shed some insight on the problem.

I am showing BBM 4.7 in my applications. However, I do not have any modules under the applications. Does anyone know which cod files I need to load onto this os?

As soon as I hear somone calling RIM "stingy" for being strict about leaked software, it makes me fear that the nonsense from certain other sites is carrying onto this site. I hope and pray I am wrong.

It's not stingy to be weird about leaked software, especially something like BBM that MAY even be going through a seperate test server instead of something designed for production use (like the Skyfire fiasco)

As weird as it sounds, software leaks DO cost companies money. So we should just be thankful for things that appear before us (like .191). And even if the bugs in .191 keep us from using it everyday, it definitely shows us what the Storm will likely soon be and gives those of us who have stuck by the device much hope.

As for findings, has anyone noticed this one:

Key Ghosting options are gone, but you can now pick an option to use iPhone-eque pop up keys

Stingy? Be thankful you're not still stuck on .75.

They'll let the new BBM go when it's ready. How can they ignore this monsterous testing base they have. Don't you think there are employees at RIM who's sole purpose is to analyze the findings in these threads? If you don't then you don't know much about BIG companies.
