    Feedback So Far

Wow...tonight was my first dive into 5.0, so this was awesome comming from OOAKDPC 7.99. That being said here are my findings:
    1-no sounds for e-mail/sms/pin
2-I sent PIN messages from my wife's Storm and they arrive on mine, but she gets a error handling message
3-While trying to restore 3rd parties using DM, I can't get to the BBSAK alx file after hitting browse. Computer just keeps searching once I get to computer (c drive), so had to restore individually with BBSAK
4-I am using Natemz Blak-N-Gray...it works fine, but the animations aren't working properly.
5-Camera works great except for saving after a zoom picture. The pic saves very distorted.
6-Lock function works with a slight delay.
    7-Transitions are amazing!
    8-QL(including BT Toggle)/WeatherBerry/Storm SLider/MemoryEye/BerryScroll/accelodex/shotgun/BerryScreenCleaner/AirTrafficControl All working fine!
9-Slacker caused a freeze. It kept requesting an http connection. I had to battpull.
10-Mem is holding strong so far...will post follow-up tomorrow.
11-Battery cannot comment on until some time has gone by.

Bottom Line-Biggest issue for me is not having audio notifications for e-mail/sms/pin stuff. Other than that, I'm waaay stoked about this one!!
From my experience, the problem is usually what you think isn't the problem...NEOLANTIS

Holding at 42MB memory. Next check in will be in 16 hours . Google maps works like a charm on this build.
The newest? Mine didn't work with the first version.

I haven't tested the newest version, but an issue I found on the first version is this:

If you set your Normal sound profile to Vibe while ringing for any alert other than just phone, if you change profiles to Vibrate and then back to
normal, you have to reset the message alerts to vibe while ringing because it un-sets that option.

Is Quickpull working for anybody else? I'm using Quickpull Lite. A popup asks me if I want to trust it, I picked yes and it said there was an error or something.

I also would like to report that Slacker is working without issue on the first build... I haven't tried the second build as I everything is working perfectly for me on this build. I haven't had the alert issues -- I get sound for e-mail, sms, blackberry messenger. The only issue I have found is the one I listed in post 87 (and copied below).

I'm using the second build, received a phone call a little while ago, and my phone wouldn't stop vibrating, even after I hung up. Weird.... anyone else have that happen?

I have the space bar on the first version that was released... I haven't installed the second version because this one works so damn well that I'm nervous to risk putting on an OS that doesn't work as well and somehow, if I switch back, not being able to have it work so perfectly.... I guess I'm just a bit reticent to change when I finally have found an OS that has only one issue that is a minor nuisance; the fact that I have to change it back to Vibe and Ring for messages everytime I switch back from Vibrate profile to Normal profile -- don't need to for the phone though, which is good.

The latest version is even better. I've never booted at 55+ in memory. The space bar is the only issue I've experienced so far.

I gotcha... did you Shrink? Because I didn't shrink the first version and it boots at 48.8 MB and is pretty stable -- more stable than any of the hybrids and such I have tested... and this with Slacker, QuickLaunch, MeterBerry and un-shrunk OS....

Just let me know if you shrunk yours or not, because with 5.0 builds I typically just let it go because it's not necessarily about how much free app memory you have, but how it runs, and this runs great despite it hovering around 44.0 MB after 20 hours (-4.8 MB ain't bad after twenty straight hours without a restart and having moderate to excessive use).... Clearly I'm just very nervous to switch over. :lmao:

Just had first problem. Null pointer error. I was able to clear. It happened after I entered my voicemail password through options/voicemail from the call screen.

Nope I did not shrink... be sure you delete the original JAVA folder and then copy in the new one. (it is already pre-shrunk)

Memory is sitting at 32MB after 24hours. That would a good 16MB drop since I started. A little disappointing, but the OS is still setting in. The "blackberry memory" reset/reboot does not work, but that is okay as long as quick pull stays in the running. The big win for me is google maps and theme compatability (I have had no problem with any of the ones I have ran and it has been 6 different themes).

Just did my first reboot and memory is at 48MB, we'll see how long this will hold up second time around. I believe Ubertweeter is eating up a lot of my memory as well as weather bug and google maps, but I love this build. Looking forward towards the .190 files.
