what alert do you mean exactly? the message alerts in this hybrid are exactly like 191 except for it does not currently have threaded SMS.

Now that makes sense. Sorry about the confusion. Using BBSAK to do all the work makes me forget about DM. I only use DM to backup and restore.

that .ipd file makes it so it isn't necessary to leave .191 on your device, you can do a complete wipe and still have flick scrolling if you load the .ipd file from DM.
If you loaded this hybrid over a phone that was using .191 without doing a wipe of it, the .ipd file is not necessary as the settings are, due to some weird glitch, automatically set to use flick scrolling. More is explained in this thread:

I was refering to emails alerts that were not working in .140 before OOAK updated with the .191 files but it sounds like they are working now?

OK...I'm gonna dumb this down to my level. Just tell me if I'm GTG with this procedure:
1-Backup using DM and BBSAK(3rd parties)
2-Wipe Storm w/ BBSAK
3-Disconnect Storm
4-Insure all OS are uninstalled from PC using Add/Remove Software
5-Install 5.0.0.140
6-Use Add/Remove to uninstall RIM tools
7-Extract OOAKDPC Hybrid files
8-Copy all java files / paste to java folder in OS
9-Connect Storm
10-Install OS using loader.exe
11-Using DM, restore .ipd file with advanced options
