Welcome to BBOS. AIM and Facebook are not compatible with 5.0 versions currently. Lots of issues have been reported with this version.

.140 and .154 are JUST WORTHLESS!!!!(in My opinion) Point Blank. Thank God for BBCMAN's .151 w/V8.5 Hybrid OS. Its basicly 5.0 W/OUT ANY GLITCHES or issues..That OS is ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS. I've been running since he came out w/ V/8 then I did the update with V8.5 and Phone is Rediculously fast, no issue, battery and memory is amazing..I cant say enough about BBCman's Hybrid..It just works and Blows out ALL OSs out there right now including the "OFFICIAL" ones....Again..Just my opinion

Installed last night. Upgraded from .140. Memory is very very stable. performance really good. I find these are better than hybrids compared to battery life and memory leak.
I have used lyricidal and mostly Gabriels. do not think i would go back to hybrids as long as leaks are coming out are of this quality.
I am not a big fan of face book and does not use BBM either.
Applications I use, works fine.

I installed it 2 hours ago using the loader.
It works fine, I can't say about memory and battery since it is too fresh.
Nav4all,batteryboost,google maps, sounds,browser,mail,sms work.
Quickpull does not work since it was designed for 4.7.
No yahoo mess appears.
Key ghosting works but not 100% since it does not ghost all the letters.
I use the default theme with a different wallpaper
I have a vodafone sim card with 2 no.the application that allows me to switch in between them appears and disappears at it's own will after reboot.
For now I think I'll keep the OS till Gabriel will release a new hybrid with files from this one in it.

Would it be possible to make it work better if I wipe clean with BBSAK an reinstall?



It is fast and since I don't really use the IM and my dual no. simcard icon decided to appear after closing and reopening the BB I decided to give it a try at least till a new leak will be here or as I said a new hybrid.

for me...doesnt work. It keep rebooting during activation and Im on reboot number 5....too flaky this OS...

Mine reboots during calls and I hate it.
I wiped it clean with BBSAK and reinstalled.
I'll see what will happen now.

when i first install 5.0.0.130 i had lot of problems but manual resets did the trick. What i did was, removed the battery leave it for one minute(60 seconds) and then put it back to restart. I did this for 4 times and most of the programmes work. I use opera mini as the bowser comes up with page info not the actual web page.
you can try and see whether it works
