    OS Question

    Guys, my friend bought an unlock vodafone storm here in Dubai with version 4.7.0.78.

    If we install the OS from etisalat (.167), is it not going to lock the phone to etisalt network?

    If the vendor.xml file was deleted prior to OS install, the device would not know what it has on it and should not lock it.

    I thought unlocking the device was not tied to the OS, but dont quote me on that.
