For number 2 on your list, there is a great little app that will do this for you. It's called BB Light and you can get it HERE

My bad. It doesnt do what I thought it did. It has been a while since I use that app.

On a off topic side note, it seems they have made that app Storm specific now. Works great!

Have had .140 since it came out. just put yours in, wow. impressive. One thing if I can suggest. Anyway to add the 5.0 profile feature in bedside mode?

I installed the hybrid on the 9500 and everything is working except the browser.
I have the browser icon and I am not able to access Non-BlackBerry Page!. "Unfortunately, your current device and/or browser are not compatible"
When I check the options, Browser Configuration, Browser is set to Internet Browser and I have the option for Media Net and Hotspot Browser.
The funny thing is Hotspot Browser is only suppose to work on the wireless connection but it works on Edge.
Apart from that everything works.

You have to have a clean 151 os installed to your pc. Download and install v8.5 to the 151. Now. Run apploader and install to your device. Its always recommended to wipe your existing OS from your phone before intalling a new OS. I recommend BBSAK, it works awesome!!!
