No as it uses .151 sfi (radio) which is the issue with pandora and slacker others have swapped in .132 into this hybrid and have had no issues

Has anyone had any MMS issues with 8.5? ive looked around and dont see any posts...

My MMS msgs like to randomly stop being "recieved". I get the msg, with the "message cannot be recieved, try again later" line. Similar to this is YOUMAIL visual voicemail wont update either when this happens. I do a BP, and go back to the msg i can hit "retrieve now" and it will retrieve. Also VVM updates after BP.
Any ideas? fixes? Did i screw something up ??

This is something I have noticed with every OS/Hybrid I have installed since the days of .75....Unless I resize the picture to 360x480 it does that. I know that OS .75 would resize the background picture to make it fit, but none of the others that I have used have done it.

GPS Nav by Telenav on my Bell Storm has stopped working. Always says "weak gps signal" and doesn't read location. Tried enabling/disabling the GPS option and battery resets.

Used to work before without any problems. Installed after wiping device using the .151 with this hybrid. Anyone else having these problems?

I just upgraded to 8.5 and now I am missing the setup folder for my email can anybody help?

i want to change back to bbc v8.5 from .191 but im having a problem. i uninstalled 191 from the pc. rebooted the pc then installed .151 ran the hybrid installed over 151 os folder. then i wiped my phone. ran apploader but then it doesnt give me the option to pick what os i want. it only gives me the apps to install. then i trying to reload using dm but it doesnt give me the 151 folder. it only gives me .148, .75, or .65. need some ideas what to do next

Did you delete the vendor file?

yeah i deleted the vendor file i deleted all previous os on my computer i emptied recycling bin cleared all my caches still to no prevail?

Ok so try these steps


delete any OS's off your pc through control panel add/remove

Navigate to c-program files-common files-research in motion-shared-loader files- **and delete anything in this folder**

empty recycle bin

load on a fresh install of .151 to your pc
load on a fresh install of 8.5 on top of .151

delete the vendor file ( c-program files-common files-reseach in motion-app loader- **delete vendor file**

wipe your phone with BBSAK

use the load OS button on BBSAK to load 8.5

I wanted to thank bbcrackman for this most excellent hybrid. I have been using it since it came out and it is the best OS ever! I get zero memory leak and I actually use the zen theme that has all the bells & whistles thanks to this hybrid. I love the fact that I can touch the speaker, clock and coverage indicator and change the settings. It works even in the applications list. I don't know a theme that can do that. I love this hybrid and I just wanted to let everyone know it!

Thanks bbcrackman! Your hybrids are the best by far. Please keep doing what you do.

Going to download in a bout a minute or so. hopefully its better then the one i got now.

I've had the same issue... then realized I forgot to check something in App Loader.

But even after reloading through App Loader, I notice that I still sometimes get the MMS issue.
