I went ahead and installed 7.99B with the 151b radio. Just now got it up and running. The install went fine. Will report back later.

This is my first time installing one of his hybrids. I have used just about every other one that has been put out. I was on CCCrackman V8.5 for several days. I have all apps installed now and I am booting with around 42MB memory. That is a little over 2 MG more than with V8.5. Responce seems to be very good. I am running the BLAK series theme. The restore went perfect. Right now it is looking very good but as we all know we need to give them a little time to settle in.

Let me start off by saying...: v7.99b WE HAVE A WINNER !!!
I loaded this last night and MAN am I happy. My info shows - 4.7.0.167/4.0.0.186
I have no clue which radio that is but everything just works! I don't get all hyped on most of the hybrids that come out. I give props where props are due but this is truely a game changer. The first thing I noticed on the second batt pull was boot-up speed. I thought it was just a fluke but it will go from a cold boot to an active screen in 31sec. Believe me, I'm on BES so I have to do at least 4 extra battery pulls. Every one after loading was lightning fast.
The next thing I noticed was NO SPINNING CLOCK (ON ANYTHING.) I've seen other people post about no clocks on other hybrids but not me. Some have been better than others but I usually get a clock viewing pictures or going back and forth through messages too fast. I have NOT seen the spinning clock since I finished the last reboot last night. And I have been trying to make it happen. It's like they took the spinning clock out of the OS.

Transitions are smooth as silk.
Colors jump off the screen.
Browser is super fast.
Memory is the highest ever (for me at least.)

I will have to post again later tonight to see how my Battery life is. And I'm using the -:elle:- Theme. All in all, this one hit the spot! :hail::hail::hail:
I just hope I can duplicate these results on my wife's phone. :cool2:

It takes a lot to impress me and I have to admit..., I'M IMPRESSED.

Not to be impatient or anything

... but any estimated time of arrival on the unshrunk versions of 7.99 (as well as the one with the 132 radio)?

I've grown quite tired of having to reset every time I want to listen to Slacker, as I've had to do with the 151 radio :disappointed:

... so hopefully the 132 radio will solve that issue for me.
