i was wondering if you could give me some info on this....when im in my room at home...my storm works just fine....but then when i walk out to the car or go for a run it freezes up and i cant click on any of the icons...the phone still receives messages and calls but i cant click on anything....then when i walk back into my house in my room it works just fine instantly....and while im driving it will do the same thing...but once i walk back in my house it works fine...ive tried turning the radio off to see if it has to do with the edge connection because i kno it uses memory...but the phone still acts the same...another example is that i will go for a jog and the music tracks play fine...then when i stop and try to use the phone its frozen up...but right when i walk into my house it works again....i was wondering if you have ever heard of anything like that...

might be a hardware issue. what u have ur connections set as and when did u load 7.99c
i loaded it today...ive loaded a few hybrids since i got the phone on ebay unlocked...im guessing it a hardware issue also....i have played around with the connections...and the .90 radio works well it loads up tzones and everything and i always have a solid EDGE connection...ive turned off the radio and it still freezes....so...it cant be the connection...and when i look at my memory status its at 55.5 or more but it will still freeze...and ive tested it with no 3rd party apps on it...and same thing...no luck
im thinking hard ware r the .90 radio the radio freezes some times i no that for a fact
let me put it this way...no matter what radio code i use it does the same thing....for example i work at jiffy lube with an underground pit....so when i go down stairs the phone will freeze up...when i pull the battery out and reset it it loads up quick and picks up the connection and im using the phone just fine...then when i put down the phone to work on a car and walk back its frozen up again...but then when i go back upstairs it comes back to life....i just find it to be real wierd how it works superb at my house though....

I ran ver 7.99b with the 151 radio for 24 for hours and it worked great. May be the best I have ever had. I am wiping now and installing the version with the 132 radio to see how it works with Slacker.

I have to say this is the best my phone has worked since I have gotten it. Loaded it last night & so far so good. I'll report back later after a whole day of use.
It is a very good Hybrid and we all know that all storms act differently, and V.7.99 ate MY memory to fast (same third party apps as always) but like I said on MY phone
