Thread: Typical Battery Life

I have read there are issues with the battery life of the storm. I basically done everything possible to increase battery life (10% BL, No BT, No GPS, in holster, etc), so I am wondering what my battery life should be for a full charge of the phone? My normal use includes browsing for no more than 10 minutes, open about 10 emails to which I rarely respond, maybe make a total of 5 min worth of phone calls. Also does the battery issue tend to be more associated with the battery itself, software, or the hardware. The 30 trial with verizon will be up soon and if it is a hardware issue I will seek a new storm.

It sounds liek you have a bad battery. You should contact verizon and get a replacement battery. I have GPS enabled, Visual Voicemail and a few others and I can go a day maybe two with out having to recharge. And Im a heavy texter and emailer. I have 3 emails accounts set up too. So it def seems like a bad battery for you.

I listen to Slacker for about 4 hours a day and my battery still lasts a full day. Plus I text and email all day long.
