Thread: Issue with installing CM v8

Can anyone help, i installed CM v8 and it installed fine, all my 3rd party apps and my regular stuff contacts, etc. was all ok. Then i did a battery pull and it gives me the error Reload Software:552. I used BBSak 1.4, also i don't know why the BBSak only displays half its program, i can't see all of the options i uninstalled and reinstalled it but i still get half the program. Thanks

yes but the main prob is the error 552

no i dont have 64

Are you able to connect to your DM? You will need to do an OS Reinstall. Check out this link

no DM does not show my pin but when i run BBSak i can see my pin (most of my pin)

I would first try to uninstall and reinstall and see if the issue persists. If, it does write back and let me know I will research the issue you are experiencing.

You should try to the link I sent you for your error you should reinstall your OS which is on your computer. You should also uninstall BBSAK 1.4 and reinstall.

i did uninstall BBSak and reinstalled twice and i get the same thing. half

weird not to worry there are other tools we can use. what staus is your device in "bricked"

Maverick try using JL cmdr to wipe your phone and see if that will work. If it does then we can at least get your phone up and running and then tackle the BBSAK issue

OK here is a long shot but it has worked for a friend of mine in the past

Go to windows update on your PC and see if there is a net framework update available, if so download that and try again.

By the way I am late to this thread how did the error come about?

BRB just downloaded net framework update, must restart computer

if dm is not seeing your pin, i suggest a computer reboot, and try plugging the phone in without the batt in, ive had problems with the usb sometimes, 10 min after unplugging i'l get the "bleboop" sound for usb disconnecting... just a thought
