Can't change the radio, tried and i get the missing icons. I was hoping for a fix v8/90

Ok wiped PC ran 4.7.0.151. I then ran V8, Shrunk it and hit loader everything went great until the end and it stopped before it finished. It said there was a error and my back up files would need to be loaded from DM. My USB is not being recognized so I can't connect to my phone using the USB. Any ideas?

Yea...this just happend to me....Leave the DM up, but remove the phone...pull the battery and plug the usb cable in during the boot process. See if it connects at that point. Just resotre and you are in. V8 is rockin BTW

Ok finally got it to recognize my phone so I reloaded using the loader in the OS instead of Shrink a OS. It apparently loaded everything the first time. In process of my three batt. pulls.

It is the same os and paltform but if BBM 5.0 is there it is V8

Jlevy, I have been using Lyrics 6.6 and love it but low BT volume is a prob.
Have you got high volume back?
I thought it was the 151 radio?

Looks like the clean installs of the OS (.151) and V8 to the PC did the trick. Will track the operation of the OS now for a bit but initial findings look very good indeed. My only guess is that the visual voice mail files might have come into the device when I did a Verizon *22899. This time around I only did *228 and option 2 (roaming updates). No visual voice mail files on the device after this procedure.

I had strayed to another Hybrid and was totally disappointed. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Now, I am putting this V8 on. My hope is the audio MMS issue has been solved. So far I think it is something with the .151 platform. Not sure.

Hey harley,

If you follow this path;

Option > advance options > applications > bbmenu button > modules - in this list you'll see files from - .151 /.164/ 5.0.0.130/ 5.0.0.140

Bbcrackmans previous build didn't have any .164 or .130 or .140.

Sorry no fix... Its the .151 radio. Hopefully we get the .167 radio for the 9530. If you do a batt pull prior to using Slacker etc. You should get a good amount of time out of it before it screws up!

Yeah I never had the issue but JL has been losing sleep over this for a long time!

I'd be interested to see if you notice an improvement over .151
