    unable to install v8

    i need help please. i installed a fresh copy of .151 to my computer then installed v8 over .151. i then tried to use the app loader to load to my phone and says cannot load because WINHTTP.dll was not found. reinstalled twice to no avail, got same message. any suggestions or a solution would be greatly appreciated.:17:
    ...and that's the bottom line cause stone cold said so!!!

    Somehow one of your dll files has gone missing or may be due to a registry error. To fix the problem download it from the following link and follow the instructions:

    I'm guessing the theme builder hasn't updated it yet. Its an easy fix, but sometimes old themes go by the wayside. If you can figure out how to get a hold of the builder, you might be able to get him/her to fix it!

    i've been following up with you guys the past week when i found out about bbos...great site. now the question...i am going to follow the instruction to install v8 on my pc and just downloaded the clean 151 as well. what do i need to do to install this clean version first? looking around but still a little unsure the correct way to do this. i have the bbsak to and have already backed up my storm. dl the shrink os just in case for later use. thanks in advance and look forward to interacting with you all...

    You need to install the .151 to your computer! You can do this by locating .151 and clicking on it. For example: mine is dropped into documents... I just go to documents and click... Install wizard pops up and follow the directions. Also there is a link in my signature at the bottom of this post for UPGRADE/downgrade OS! All the info you are looking for is there!

    Alright Download was successful, I think. It shows the correct Version and Platform but since that is the same from the last BBC Hybrid can someone tell me a SPECIFIC file to look for to prove I have the right downloaded files
