Please note that I have included the latest version of Shrink-A-OS with this hybrid in the same folder.

Please follow the steps below:

- Once downloaded double click to run the installer
- Click the next button to continue install
- It will ask you if you want to create the destination directory click NO
- Click the browse button and navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files>and select your current OS folder
- Once selected click next to load the hybrid
- Once finished click next and then use apploader to install on your phone

Special thanks to BBCrackman and Lyricidal for letting me use files from their hybrids...

Bryan you are to the point ! Gabriel I cant test hybrids as fast as you produce them. An interesting point and comment is that the 167 radio is approx 4 mb larger than most of the cdma files distributed . (Average 14mb versus 18 mb )

Are there more features and attributes we can look forward to?

I see your radio in the latest 3.0.1 is 14.522 mb whereas the 167 radio with the official release is 18,938 mb . Why the difference and what is going on?? 164 is 14,524mb ! In the change log mention of the use of the 167 radio is made. Things don`t add up !!

i downloaded the official version from Lyricidal's site(http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/OSs/9500.167.exe)... and after installation... this is what it shows...
Please see the screenshot below and compare the dates/timestamps and let me know...

Not sure how to copy the properties detail but can assure this is the case . Downloaded from the original Blackberry Taiwan site. Tell me how I`ll print the properties for you.

Did any one install it? Does it have tab browsing and the ghost keyboard?
I installed my berry 3 times in the last 36 hours with all the "goodies" coming one after the other. Now I'm 167. Will it be better and faster with the hybrid?

Unfortunately, none of the hybrids will have tabbed browsing and ghost keyboard, as those are the features embedded in the radio file (sfi) and it is not compatible with any hybrids.

Thank you Olta now I understand. Would you advise to install it? Will the berry be faster if I choose the hybrid over the 167? I never installed a hybrid till now, so I'm a little dumb.

There are quite a few hybrids to choose from....see which one best suits your needs and desires. I used to load every single hybrid that came out, until 5.0 leaked. I have been on 5.0 for quite some time now and am really enjoyingit. It settled in real nicely, fast and radio is really good. If you decide either way, let us know and we'll walk you thru the process. You can load the hybrid over .167, if you desire. I have not heard much feedback yet on .167 radio and memory management since it was just released. I know for sure that .164 doesn't have as good memory management as .151 does. You can try it out and see....and if it doesn't work, there are many other choices out there. Good luck and keep us posted.
