24 hours on, and its still good. Battery life seems better, memory still above 30mb, and i just noticed it now has the option to use network time to update the clock.
Definately the most stable my storm has been since i got it.
Was tempted to try the 5 software update, but its running so well i think i'll leave it alone now! Well for a couple of days anyway!:laugh2:

I am having problem with some of my favourite themes: Elle theme and BlackberryOS theme.
They were working fine with .151 OS.

What is the problem you are having?

there is a definite issue regarding any custom themes working in OS beyond .151...the notifications being the main thing...you get the icons (ie the new message envelope) but nothing else.
They must have changed some coding post .151 and this has made all previous themes inoperable...At the moment, if you are using either .164 or .167 it looks like only the default theme will work properly..

my problem is that every time I get an email I just see the star on the envelop and no audio notification, no vib, no led flashing and that doe not sound good to me.

It seems that only the default theme can work properly... What a pity!!!

It is a pity but please try to remember this is a Leaked Beta which means it still has bugs or we would have it offically released. It may not be perfect but its better than .76

Flattened the phone as per usual and rebuilt using the new version...

Only app I use is Easylock, and phone is running with 51MB free mem...

Seems fine and quite stable..., speed also okay..

No problems whatsoever yet..., all very similar to 4.7.0.164...

Sasagr, I believe it's an issue with 2 things here:

1. OS .151 and higher are somehow coded differently that they doesn't support the older plazmic version, which leads me to believe....that

2. Plazmic is what needs to be updated to work with any OS above .151, not just an OS issue.

These were exactly my findings as well. For some reason I have a radio that is some 4 mb larger than everyone else seems to have. This has worked superbly but I can`t uderstand the anomaly.

Nevertheless this Os works well but not with the Elle Classic theme.Futhermore I agree Plazmic cant keep up with all new developments!

I have noticed I do not receive notification I have received a new email (LED led does not work),,,

How do you fix this?

Also when you choice to Mark All Prior Email being Read does not work?????

I found 2 different versions of 167, one has 121Mb and the other one 145Mb. Ca anyone tell me what's the difference? I had installed the 121Mb that I took from here. Now I'm on Gabriel's hybrid 3.0.2.

You mean for the base OS?

Yes, for the official 164, but I think the difference in size comes from the languages included,since the bigger one is a all lang.

do we have any themes for 167 mine show up but i get no sound from e mail and sms i need a today theme that works please help

JB at this point until Rim releases a patch for plazmic the themes will not work 100% with that os. its unfortunate but the price we pay for links

Just oicked up a Plazmic update. Let`s se if the theme developers respond accordingly!
