Definitely. I sincerely hope this is not the VZW official. I am expecting/wanting a much higher release than .113

I really hope the members on this forum give this OS a shot so we can find all of the issues to help make the best hybrid we can. I'm already working on a hybrid that will fix the MMS issue. If anyone else has any input on what to include in the hybrid let me know.

No worries....I seriously doubt it will be official

I hope you're right. I will say that it is very snappy and possibly a good base for a hybrid, so I can only imagine how good the .14x and up builds must be.

so far so good. Very Snappy had 51.6 after load just did bat pull reboot is quick also. Apps open and close instantly camera could be better but overall good improvement. will run at least 24 hrs first MMS must be a phone specific problem i haven't had any issues with MMS on any of the builds just sent the wife some pics and ringtones that came through no problems.

is there a file I can pull out of my current v1 hybrid to fix mms before I uninstll it?

They are saying 113 running on platform 144 not 143? Maybe it is legit.

I agree with you blindman4556, I seriously doubt that this will be or would be an "Official" release...IMO

yup, someone was probably bored and started a rumor, stuffs just like high school man, some one says this person did that and it goes around the school til everyone thinks that person did that and it aint true.

if i had to take a guess, my guess is that the official release will be one we havnt seen yet. cause RIM is constantly testing and making the betas and im almost willing to bet money that we are 2 steps behind them. whats probably going on is someone does beta testing then they finally get so many betas further that they say f*** it here have fun prople

RIM is a multi million dollar company, and they are getting all kinds of bank from the storm. do u think that the .114 beta would leak before the .113 official, i think there smarter than that , and can atleast pay people to shut the f*** up

So whats the deal, is the new .113 release any better than hybrid V2? I put V2 hybrid on my storm just yesterday... arrgg. I hate to switch OS's again for no reason, and V2 seems to be working like a champ for me.

I am by no means an expert judge of OS's but I gave it a whirl and think it's a very solid OS. Overall I would say it's a slight improvement over BBC v2 hybrid. Two issues that still remain are some MMS issues and color banding (oh why can't RIM fix that). Anyway, whether or not it becomes official remains to be seen. I sure hope not knowing that RIM is currently cooking .17X.

If anybody has any specific questions fire away.

Curious to see what BBC's comments are after he gets it installed.

IMO i would stay, its all up to you its your phone, but i would wait to see if it ends up being an official, i dont really believe this

You make a good point unfortunately it is not RIM who decides what becomes official its VZW. And we certainly know that VZW is not the crunchiest chip in the bag. RIM is currently up to .17X so if this was official I would be surprised. But then again crippling GPS on google maps was surprising too. So I guess no one will really know until something becomes official.
