Thread: Where do I delete old themes?

Now that I have been putting the new hybrids on my phone not all themes are not in the applications folder. When I go to the themes folder in options I have 5 themes there. The original and the 4 I have tried lately. I only find 2 of them in the advanced options>applications folder. The 2 themes in question are: HD PTP 9500 and the NAITTP. I used to be able to go right to the applications folder and delete them. Any ideas?

Have you tried using Desktop Manager or app loader to remove them?

Yes. It's kind of strange. When I go to Themes it shows them and I can activate them. Using DM they are not their either.

And you go to options-advanced-applications and they are listed in there for you to delete?

Try using Loader.exe...

You can find it in:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

Or if you are using Windows 64bit systems:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

4 themes are still on my device. I went into apploader and they don't show up.

Ok try this

Reboot your phone then when the red led turns off press and hold your escape key and don't let go until you get the boot up in safe mode message. Then go into options-advanced-application and scroll down and highlight the themes and hit your bb button and choose delete.
