Thread: Swapping Radio With Lyrics 6.6

Thought this should have a new thread as it think 6.6 is the best yet. I LOVE this hybrid BUT...
I have to change to the 132 or 109 radio as BT volume is just lower on my Plantronics 640 with thw 151 radio than it has been on those previous radios.

Lyric has suggested some files that have to be brought out of 148 to allow the radio swap but we have not gotten it right yet.

Others have had some issues with Pandora I believe.

Any one have a swapped radio success?

Lyricidal has stopped support of Swap A Radio on the 5.0 OS he has instead integrated swap into Shrink A OS. I believe you will have success swapping the radio to the one you want using Shrink. For a walk through on this program see the below link

can't swap a radio with 6.6.

I to have tried several times without and succes, it seems to be an issue with some of the other files in the hybrid and not so much the 151 radio. I have been using BBc V7.14 with the .90 radio with success. Maybe BBC's V8 will be able to change radios if need be

I think that I have not tried that.

Dis try to swap using swap a radio and shrink 3.3.
Why would manual copy make a diff Bryan?

I would suggest still trying to do this as there may be a glitch or something with the app.

Lyricidal is in the midst of refining the Shrink-A-OS app, so a manual cut-and-paste is worth a shot. What's one more brick?

Also, are you using a custom theme? Sometimes reverting to Precision Zen is a fix/workaround for folks using a custom theme.

Have you tried the 164 radio ? Copy & paste to CDMA folder.Earlier references in other threads report 164 to be better I`ve yet to confirm this. Any ideas?
