    Exclamation OS installation question

    Ok...Not sure if this is the right place to post this question...I am trying to upgrade my os, I have the files downloaded and when I try to follow the directions posted here I cannot find the vendor.xml file to delete. Under program files I have "program files" and "program files x86". I have searched both and cannot find that file to delete. Any ideas?

    which os are you upgrading to?

    The vendor file is located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

    eventually the 114 hybrid v2. but i think i have to install the 114 first.

    when I go to C:\program files\common files\research in motion....there is no app loader

    I go the OS installed...however the vendor xml file was never there...but it works..Thanks for your help

    What OS is your pc running? If its xp service pack 3, you might have to delete DM. and reinstall it. BBCrackman has ran into this a couple times and tried to recreate it on 2 of my pc's running sp3. SP3 some how moves the loader file from the common folder. Reinstalling DM fixes it.
