I see now that you have updated the link on the first page. I do not normally like to do hybrids that have been shrunk before installing. I want to shrink it based on my requirements.

Any way you can tell us what you shrunk out? There are things like Docs to go that I need. I'm definitely willing to try your hybrid!
Oops! Just saw that it's included! I'll post my findings!

I love how when I'm activating my BES on new firmware, my memory shoots straight up... right now i'm at almost 80MB free memory... haha... then it goes way back down to about 40-50MB... =T

trying it as I type this...not had a lot of luck with others I've tried (mostly losing BBM5) so this ones looking promising :-)

I have BBM5 and a browser which I didnt the last time I tried one of these..no Facebook yet..trying a battery pull

Battery Pull didnt give ne FB back..trying to reinstall from App Center and...that worked :-)

Now to try to the restore apps using BBSAK..not too sure if this is a good idea or not..will find out shortly I guess

Apparently I dont know how to back up applications or themes...got to go get em all again..thats a task for another night

    Storm seems pretty quick though!!

    Cheers

    Steve

Why do you shrink it? Let the user do that. It is a lot of trouble to find out what is there or not.

Gabriel, I think it's a good idea to list things that are removed from the hybrid

i have used BBC's V7.1.4 as guideline... therefore... whatever is there is here as well...
since most people are familiar to BBC's hybrids... i thought it would be more convenient for them this way...

UK you can use BBSAK to take a screen shot of the phone or you can you use QL (if you have the newer version) and use it's screen shot feature as well.

If not then you can download capture it OTA Here

I have tried to do a screenshot with BBSAK. Where do I find it? I have tried and can't find the file anywhere.

I have both BBSAK and QL but... I don't know how to work the BBSAK screenshot... I click the button but nothing happens and there's no screenshots int he BBSAK folder... as for QL, where is the snapshot option? I have 2.0...

    Will try the CaptureIt program..

Should be located in the following folder

    • Take Screenshots of your Blackberry (Screenshots stored in My Pictures\BBScreenies now)

Oh and how do I use Capture it? I press the app icon and it just says it takes a screenshot but I don't know where the pics are... I'm guessing I should add it to my QL menu so I can do screenshots where ever?

Capture it stores them on your SD card. When using captureit will vibrate letting you know it took a successful picture

You can also press the BB menu button and choose Capture It.
