Thread: .151 MMS issues, anyone else having this?

I would like to know if anyone has tried this approach. Would some one help me to test this on .151 as I am currently running the 5.0 OS on my device.

Option>>MMS>>Automatic Retrieval

I think by default this MMS setting is at Home Only. Try selecting Always. Now this of course is a test. I had tried this on my device while I had .151 on it however, the 5.0 leak dropped and I could not verify if it corrected the issue.

1st thing I did. Was on the phone with Verizon and they had me do that 1st thing. Was a temporary fix.

And just confirmed, MMS.cod v.148 is now on my phone.

Thank you Vader...The MMS issue wasn't the deal breaker for me. The memory management was phenomenal IMO. Good Luck.

is it working

Dunno yet. Phone rebooted after the file change, so naturally it would work. It will take upwards of a day or 2 to get a complete answer

ok well let us know... maybe BBC can come in with his infinate knowledge too

Will do! I know after I reboot, I usually get about a day. So I guess all my friends will be getting sick pic texts for the next couple days....lol

I know this seems silly and redundant, but try replacing the sms.cod as well

Alrighty then. Loaded 148 SMS .cod file now. Phone is rebooting and we will test here shortly.

Do not do the swap!!!!

Locked my phone up. After reboot it just goes to a white screen. I have to wipe it and reload. Lucky fer me I keep backups...lol

Reloading Hybrid 7.1.4 - 151

I've been battling this problem ever since .151. I've had no luck... I can send pictures and audio just fine, it's only when I try to send Audio to LG devices on Verizon that I have a problem. Pictures send fine to anyone on any network and the audio will send to my dads Moto Krave ZN4 (Verizon) and my girlfriends Tour (Verizon). It's only when I send audio to my friends EnV or Voyager that the problem occurs....

I tried replacing the MMS with the .148 version and it works. I can send audio but I can only send one audio at a time because it won't allow me to pull up the menu in the MMS page. I thought this might be due to the fact that .151 had transitions and the .148 file obviously doesn't. I tried using Lyric's Shrink an OS to remove the transitions and the .148 still doesn't allow me to pull up the menu.

I've just kind of forgot about it. I told my friends if they wanted audio to just go to zedge or something on their phone for the time being. I wonder if Verizon hasn't played a role in this. (far fetched I know) They may not like the fact that neither I or my friends have ever bought a ringtone from them.... (because I send them through MMS)

I'm gonna keep tinkering with this, if I come up with a solution I'll definitely post it.
