OS. 5.0.0.140, whats your battery life

I understand that the Storm seems to all work a little differently for each of us and our personal usage varies BUT

Have you seen the battery life on this new OS.

I am on my phone all day, I send maybe 30-40 emails (at least), Too BBM's to count, Twitter, Surf BBOS, Run my Theme biz, and make phone calls...yes I am glued to the phone.

Running OS 151 I would have to change to my backup battery around 4pm each day.

Since the leak it seems that my battery life has gotten better, I haven't changed my usage habits one bit, if anything I use it more. So here is my stat line

Every monring my phone turns on at 6am (auto on) I do not charge throughout the day.
Sunday - 9 pm - 43% left
Monday - 9 pm - 36% left
Tuesday - 9 pm - 48% left
Wednesday - 9 pm - 58% left

Interesting, maybe useless but I'm loving it.

I voted for same as before....I always had to and still charge my phone midday with as I am one of constant heavy users :)

I voted worse, not because battery life was actually worse, but because I had so many random reboots which sucked the life out of my battery.

I recently switched back to 151 w/ BBCs Hybrid because my battery would be dead by 3pm after a 6 am start. It did not originally start out like that. Battery life was superb at 1st.

Better

I voted better... To start the battery life was horrible! It only lasted from 7am to noon. I tried complete battery drains followed by complete charges so it would "learn" the battery. Nothing worked until I removed WeatherBug. As soon as that was gone I can go about 2 days without charging it! Hope this helps someone else.

Olta, I know you love your weather apps, how ofter do you have your weather app udate?

Olta, I know you love your weather apps, how ofter do you have your weather app udate?

I have it set to update every 2 hours but I go in and manually update in between. :)

If you use Berry Weather you can set up for 30 minutes and won't see much of memory drop. One of the few weather apps that doesn't drain your memory or battery.

I agree 1000%!!! It's the best for me out of all that I have tried. :)

Once I listened to mp3s and pandora for lil over an hour and meterberry said 44% drain / hour. That does include a few random reboots. Two an hour isn't bad.... Right? ....

I voted better... with the previous OS, by 11 PM, I would be under 10% (Since I also use my Storm as my alarm, its been great) but now with 5.0 running on my Storm, the battery is above 20% So I try to increase the number of battery pulls (found Leave it On does not leave apps on) and try drain the battery more.

Overall, I love the longer battery life, but I fear once I get a job I might need the 1600mH battery, or not.
