I noticed that in 5.0 when you tap the clock or the bar signal picture the highlight would disappear, but with 7.6 it would remain highlighted until you press something else.. not a big deal
memory is stable (about 48~50mb) but 5.0 had better memory stability
seen more clocks than in 5.0, but that's cause of the radio
i like the transition screen going from your home screen to the main page with the icons and vice versa.. just like in 5.0
Also I like the inclusion of docs to go version 1.007 and bbm 5.0
Will post more after the hybrid sits longer on my phone
oh and feel better Randy :cool2:

I do like OOAKD's hybrids but I don't like it that they are pre-shrunk. I would rather do that myself rather than to have to put stuff back. Other than that,

I just finished installing OOAKDPC's v7.6 and doing the battery pulls. I must say this:
I had, at some point in the past week or so used BBCM v7.1.4-151 which worked VERY VERY well for me. However, I decided I would try Lyricidal's (v6 beta 6) newest release solely for the added functionality of the clock and signal meter in the banner being able to be used to access Manage Connections and Clock. However, lyricidal's build did not run as quickly or as smoothly on my Storm as BBCM's did. Which lead me to this hybrid as it had the added functionality of the banner. :approve:
My initial impressions are very good for this hybrid. It has the added functionality that I preferred, but with a much faster speed than lyricidal's hybrid operated on my Storm. It runs at almost the same speed that BBCM 7.1.4-151 worked (though BBCM's did run slightly smoother and faster with slightly quicker landscape-portrait transitions), but this build has the added functionality that I was looking for. Despite the fact that I have lost 1.6 MB and am down to 47.8 MB free since start up (was originally at 49.4 MB), it runs quickly and smoothly. I will probably be doing another couple pulls before the end of the day just to get a better idea of what I'm losing.
All in all, great build, I am very impressed. :hail:
Please note, I am not bashing any of the hybrid creators. All of these builds and their builders are incredible! Just noting that with my specific Storm, OOAKDPC's seems to work the best of any of the hybrids I have tested so far. I am looking forward to testing the newer versions of OOAKDPC's releases (as well as the release of BBCM v 8 that is supposedly being released later in the week). Every Storm runs differently, so there is not a "best" hybrid, but rather a "best for my specific Storm" hybrid.
*A side note, it also runs great with the "BlackBerry Pro v3 Black_N_White4" Theme that comes with lyricidal's 6beta6 release.
Thank you to everyone who has put work in on OOAKDPC's hybrid! I'll keep everyone posted with my future findings of any bugs/quirks/etc. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

I haven't been using my BBM (v5) so I don't know when this issues first began but for some odd reason, I can't open up anyone's chat who IM's me first... I can only open a new chat if I initiate it, otherwise I can't respond w/o having to first end the chat and then open a new chat with the same person... not sure if that's BBM or the hybrids... currently using 7.6...

It is not the hybrid....not sure what is going on exactly. Did you do your battery pulls?
